What stays in your browser
The current document, “My documents”, your client and item book, payment tracking and your settings are stored in your browser, on this device only, and nothing is sent to our server. The PDF, created in your browser, carries an attached copy of its printed content, without images, to reopen it here (option in “Appearance”); a backup file in “My documents” restores everything elsewhere. “Erase my data from this device” deletes everything.
The shared link
A shared link contains the document itself, in the address, after the “#” sign. Browsers do not send that part of the address to the server: we never receive it. Anyone who has the link can read the document, so share it as you would share the PDF. The link carries no logo, stamp or signature.
Accounts and cookies
The site asks for no account and sets no cookie today. It only loads its own pages, fonts and images.
What the host receives
As with any website, the host (Cloudflare, Inc.) receives technical data on every visit: IP address, browser, requested page. It uses this data to serve and protect the site. It never receives the content of your documents, nor the part of the address after the “#” sign. What it keeps, and for how long, is set out in its own privacy policy.
Statistics, once they are active
We plan to count page views and PDFs created, without cookies and without any invoice data. The tool and the date it starts will be named here before it is switched on.
Advertising, once it is active
If advertising is added, it will only be shown after you agree, with a “Refuse” button as visible as “Accept”, and you will be able to change your mind at any time from the footer. The ad network and its trackers will be named here first.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. This site does not follow your activity over time or across other websites, so the signal changes nothing here. Today, no advertising network or analytics provider collects information about your activity on this site over time or across other websites. If advertising is added, this section will say, before it is switched on, how the ad provider responds to the signal.
If you write to us
If you email us, we keep your address and your message while we answer, then for 12 months at most. You can ask to see, correct or delete them by writing to contact@dualbill.com, or from the Contact page.
Who is responsible
The site is published by Ahmed Amine Benmoumen (Morocco): see About.
Changes to this page
If this page changes in a significant way, a dated notice at the top of the page will say so, with the new effective date. We cannot write to you, since the site keeps no account and no email address unless you write to us.
Frequently asked questions
Can you see my invoices?
No. They stay in your device's browser; a shared link is only read by the people you send it to.
What happens if I change browser or device?
Your documents stay in the old browser. To continue a document elsewhere, open its shared link or its PDF; the book can be exported and imported.
Does a shared link expire?
No: it contains the document itself. As long as someone has the link, they can read the document.
